In January 2025, Jieyang Industrial Park - The 20,000-square-meter fully dust-free workshop, built with an investment of 200 million yuan by Huahao New Materials Technology, was officially put into operation. Equipped with an independent fresh air system and positive pressure protection devices, the workshop achieves an air cleanliness level of ISO Class 7 (hundred-level purification standard), creating an optimal environment for insulating pressboard production.
Insulating pressboard is highly sensitive to environmental cleanliness, as tiny particles can lead to a decrease in the product's breakdown voltage. The new workshop of Huahao adopts a three-layer sealed structure: the exterior walls are made of double-layer color steel plates with soundproof cotton in between, and the doors and windows are equipped with airtight strips and pressure differential gauges. All production equipment is fitted with dust covers, and material transportation relies on a vacuum suction and conveying system. Personnel entering and exiting the workshop must go through an air shower room and a purification process for dust-free clothing. According to third-party testing, the number of dust particles in the workshop has decreased by 99.7% compared to traditional workshops, and the product defect rate has dropped from 0.8% to 0.05%.
Currently, the national standards for insulating pressboard in China have not yet refined the requirements for cleanliness. Huahao's practice with its dust-free workshop has set a benchmark for the industry. An expert from the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association pointed out, "A high-cleanliness production environment can not only enhance product performance but also extend the service life of transformers by 3-5 years. Huahao's model may encourage upstream and downstream enterprises to jointly upgrade their environmental protection and quality control systems."
